Digital data specialist Lightspeed has opened an office in Bangkok, Thailand, providing local clients and the company with an expanded presence in the Asia Pacific region. Following Lightspeed’s expansion to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia six months ago, the new office location in Bangkok demonstrates Lightspeed’s commitment to its growing APAC business.

In her new role, Phumphuengsri will be responsible for developing strategic business opportunities and growing business channel accounts.
“Across our region, Lightspeed continues to be an influential leader; our new office in Bangkok affords us many possibilities in developing our existing and sourcing new client relationships,” stated Martin Filz, Chief Executive Officer, APAC. “With client-side experience and local market knowledge, Best is uniquely qualified to drive this new location and truly understand our clients across Thailand’s growing market.”
Lightspeed also appointed Anis Teh as Client Development Manager in Malaysia, signifying Lightspeed’s ever growing presence in this area. Teh will be responsible for generating new leads and increase client awareness of company services. As well as panel experience, Teh served as Retail Community Business Manager at Hong Leong Bank and Personal Financing Consultant at Sunlife Assurance Malaysia.
“Increasing our team in Kuala Lumpur with the addition of Anis to the team is another exciting step in our continued focus on the region” stated Siddhartha Dutta, General Manager, South East Asia. “Increasing our teams on the ground is an important and exciting step in better servicing our growing client base in both Malaysia and Thailand.”
