FocusVision’s Richard Collins is now EMEA Managing Director for the both company’s quantitative and qualitative solutions. Based in the company’s London office, Collins joined the company when it acquired quantitative market research technology company, Decipher/Decrypt. Formerly directing only the quantitative portion of the business, his depth of industry and EMEA experience led to this promotion. This role integration aligns with FocusVision’s overall goal of bringing quant-qual technologies together for better business insights.

In this role, Richard Collins will continue to serve as Managing Director of FocusVision’s London office, handling all quantitative and qualitative business for the company in the EMEA region. Collins joined Decipher, which was acquired by FocusVision in early 2015, five years ago as director of client development.

Collins has more than two decades of experience in the market research industry during which time he has worked with some of the world’s largest research technology companies, working with clients across Europe, the United States, Africa, Asia and Australia. Collins has been involved in ventures such as being on the planning committee for the largest annual B2B-dedicated research conference (the BIG conference); advising on the development of MRQSA standards for Data Processing and for Automated Dialler Code of Practice; and has presented at several market research conferences. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Wales in Cardiff and is a full member of the Market Research Society.
